About Us

Glenbeag Youth Club is a dynamic and expanding youth club for girls aged 7 upwards.

In Glenbeag we want to help each girl develop her qualities to the full. Essential aspects of life in the Club are team spirit; enthusiasm, motivation, cheerfulness, and a genuine interest, in others.

We see the Catholic faith as playing an important role in motivating the Club girls and in giving them a clear direction in life.

A key element in the success of the Club is entrusted to the Opus Dei Prelature which was founded by St Josemaria Escriva.

Within the Club there are three club levels depending on the age or class/year of the girl:

Glenbeag (Milltown) holds activities on Saturdays at 2.30pm-5.30pm for girls in 4th-6th Class (Primary School).

Carraigburn (Donnybrook) holds activities for all secondary school girls. Study facilities are available to all secondary school girls from Monday-Friday (4pm-6pm) and Saturday (12-6pm). Activities are held on Thursdays for 1st years (4pm-8pm) and Fridays for 2nd years and upwards (6-9pm). There are also weekends away organised for girls from Dublin and from others parts of country.
